I have been into tuning cars since Highschool. I have taken lowered cars, trucks, and sedans to get aligned many times for family members. Most of all the other places i have gone to have recommended additional work or the car never drives safe. One shop in East San Diego did my alignnment and my brand new tires wore out within a year. I bought new tires from costco and came to these guys after searching the internet. These guys snuffed out the issue. All the readings were off to one side (indicating) that the Computerized alignment i recieved from the other shop was probalby not calibrating it right. Thing is, i didn't tell them that my previous set of tires had worned down so fast. The new set is still running strong today and I will continue to bring my cars and refer people here. Thanks BEE LINE! This is probably the most competitive price you will get in town! Honest guys.

I made an appointment and brought in my car to have the brake pads checked and possibly replaced. We waited about only 7-10 minutes before our car was looked at. The technician drove the car briefly and brought it back in to have it lifted for checking the brakes. After about 15 minutes, the front desk personnel (the owner's son, I believe) explained that my pads still had sufficient wear left, and didn't need to be replaced. They also rotated my tires, since they had the wheels taken off already. Great experience, and I'll most likely be a repeat customer when the pads need to be changed. The location is difficult to get to, so be sure to loot at Google Maps before making the trip.

Great service here, got my car aligned in no time. I had a bad wheel pull so after getting some new wheels the guys realigned it again. I can drive straight now. Thanks Beeline!

I have a '01 Toyota Solara Camry 4cyl. For the last 6 months, my car has been drifting to the left while driving on the freeway. Me being a girl, I thought maybe it was just the road causing my car to drift to the left. It was not until my husband was driving my car did he notice it was an alignment issue.I can get lazy about car maintenance. My car has not gotten an alignment for 73,000 miles. However, it recently got new shocks and new tires. After my husband told me my car had an alignment issue, I finally decided it was time to invest $60 for my car to drive straight. But who do I go to? I'm actually a frequent customer of Mira Mesa Auto Techs, who does much of the major work on my car for a decent price. But they don't do alignments. I also have a roommate who does autocrossing and said he goes to Lutz Tires in Grant Hill. I did not want to drive that far for an alignment (I live in Mira Mesa). Also, the last place I got an alignment years ago went out of business...most likely because they were not all that good.So here I went onto Yelp to research alignment shops. I thought I would go to Dualtone, but some of the 1 star reviews scared me. But after reading numerous reviews on Beeline, I thought it would be a decent decision to take my car here (The only 1 star reviews was on the customer service aspect...I think I could handle a bad customer service experience).I came here about 1 PM on a Wednesday. It was a pretty old school auto shop I had to admit. And it felt somewhat cold going there and being a female. But hey! If they can fix my car wandering to the left, why would that matter?I also noticed they did not have the usual full-on car rack that most shops do alignments with. But I still decided to take the risk in trying this place out.The customer service guy (forgot his name) was very polite to me and asked me about my car problem. Told him it drifts slightly to the left consistently on the freeway. He told me that while I was waiting I should go next door to check out the estate sale (there was really nothing else nearby).I went to the estate sale for maybe 30-45 minutes and came back. It was quite interesting watching them work on my alignment from the distance not that I know much about cars. They first drove my car in and worked on the rear part of the alignment. Then they had to drive my car out to the front and drive my car back in to do the front alignment. It also turns out that they do old school mechanical alignments versus the modern computerized alignments most places have now a days. However, I can only imagine a tech making adjustments based on non-calibrated laser equipment. My roommate also told me that mechanical alignments, if the tech is experienced and good, can be just as accurate if not better than computerized laser alignments.Considering that this place has been here literally forever, they must be good right?Well after about 1.5 to 2 hours of waiting, they were done with my alignment. The customer rep told me the tech found that my front toes were both outward, and rear toes were both inward. This was most likely the source of my poor gas mileage.I also asked their quoted price for a timing belt to get done on my car. To my disbelief, their price for a timing belt (and a water pump replacement) was lower than the price I got quoted from the other auto shop I usually go to....HRMMM (even though they charge somewhat more for labor).I don't plan on getting my timing belt and water pump replaced until 3 months from now. But knowing that they can do it for less than the other shop I usually go to seriously has me thinking about taking my car here for them to do it. This is definitely a motivation to see if I can convince the manager of Mira Mesa Auto Techs to match their price and get my water pump replaced at the same time. If not, this place is getting my business in 3 months. After paying them my $60, my alignment issue has definitely been solved. My car now goes straight instead of left. All I can say is that I would definitely recommend this place for an alignment job. Not sure about other car issues since I am still thinking about my timing belt replacement. I just hope Beeline is here to stay so they can do their top-notch alignment jobs on my car in the many years to come. Also, just a warning. They are located off Garnet, which is a busy street. So be careful if you are going there for the first time.

Can't say enough good about these guys. I took my Jeep Wrangler in several months back to have the breaks replaced which they did at a reasonable price compared to what the dealership wanted to charge me. I then had a starter issue about a month ago. They replaced it and when I still had issues had me bring it back in to test the relay. If it had been the relay they told me they were going to refund my money and put my old starter back in and charge me only for the relay, which really impressed me. I am pretty much the stereotypical woman who knows almost nothing about what goes on under the hood. :) The fact that they take time to explain things to me is an added bonus. Long story short, the problem did turn out to be a starter and connection problem; it is now fixed. They never charged me a penny after bringing it in the first time and even replaced a tail-light I was having trouble with for no extra cost! They also had a very nice man (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) take me to work twice when I dropped my car off for repair. They are a family-owned business that's been in SD for over 30 years so needless to say I trust them and that's important when you're a woman with car trouble.

Beeline is great! A family-owned business (currently owned by the son of the original, and his two sons work there), they have a guarantee that the person who works on your car will have at least five years experience. They clearly know their stuff. While the work ended up being 10 times the original quoted price, this was because of problems with my car (which has 128k miles on it). My tires had worn out prematurely with a lot of exposed metal on the inside - a sign of bad camber. The last time I bought tires, I went to another shop where they told me that this was a known problem with Siennas, and it couldn't be fixed. Well, it *can* be fixed. The Beeline people told me that the camber was right at the outer limit of the specifications for the car, but that they could fix it for about $200. Then when they got into it, I had a bad wheel bearing on the left side (another $200 - this is a front-wheel drive car and the bearings alone are $100, and have to be pressed into the wheel). Anyway, for the FIRST TIME since I have owned the car, it no longer vibrates between 70 and 75 mph! I am really happy about this!!!

The fact that these guys are honest, friendly, and inexpensive is icing on the cake. The fact of the matter is that they are incredibly good at what they do. Not only did they fix my botched front suspension installation, they found and pressed a hard to source bushing on my '97 BMW 840ci in 3 hours. After work was completed, they informed me that due to tire wear it would pull slightly to the left - and it did. 2 new front tires later and the car drives itself in a straight line. The whole job cost about as much as a nice dinner in La Jolla. I will never go anywhere else as long as I live in San Diego.

I've been bringing my cars here for 5 years - my old car, my wife's current 10-year-old car and my new car. There are so many shady mechanics and rip-off artists out there, it's nice to know I have a reliable auto shop right down the street. These guys are as honest and skilled as any shop I've ever been to and I will continue to use them as long as I live in San Diego County.

First of all, I am writing this review three months after the service. The reason for waiting is to make sure that the work they did was in fact done properly. Based on looking at the wear on my tires, the answer is Yes. The war on my tires after BeeLine aligned my wheels is Spot On.Got a new set of tires ($700) in December because the previous ones wore out before their time, due to improper alignment by another local alignment shop with a computerized four wheel alignment rack. Decided I needed to try BeeLine this time. The initial vibe when I drove in was very laid back. From past experience this can be either VERY good, or VERY bad.I called ahead for an appointment. The customer service rep was attentive, and got me in right away as promised. At first I was a little bit skeptical because the shop did not have a 4 wheel alignment rack. This means that the technician will have to align the wheels two at a time. (My car is an All Wheel Drive Subaru with 4 wheel independent suspension, and call for a 4 wheel alignment. With an All Wheel Drive car you also have to replace all four tires at the same time, even when only one or two of them are worn out.)The technician worked very methodically, but efficiently. (Based on how the job turned out, he obviously knew what he was doing.) Since I had the set of tires that came off of the car in the back, I showed the service rep how they wore. The service rep said he thought the previous alignment tech put a little too much negative camber in the alignment, and the technician confirmed that. (I asked him if he thought I mght have been knocked out of alignment, and he thought probably not based on how all four tires were worn.)With the benefit of time, I highly recommend this shop. My only suggestion for the owners/managers of BeeLine would be to be to open on Saturday. Until they open Saturday, my suggestion to car owners is to find the time during the week to get to BeeLine, because the other shop in the area that is open on Saturday was the one that didn't do such a hot job on my car's alignment the last time. (Sometimes we pay for convenience.)

Awesomeness. Trustworthy, friendly, experienced and priced right. These are the guys that takes care of cars. I really mean that they do love cars even if it's not their cars. At least I got a feeling that these people are nice people and they are proud of what they do. I got my car in and out fast. My car now goes straight and steering wheel is centered and drives really well. I agree with all 4 to 5 stars reviews. I just want to increase the review counts. I would recommend this shop to all my friends. If you look at google map and you are coming from North on I-5, it says to exit Balboa/Garnet exit and merge into Mission Bay drive, make a left on Damon and then follow that right curve and come out from Santa Fe and turn right back on Balboa. But a simpler way I did was just turn left on Balboa and make a U turn on Morena Blvd traffic light and it's going to be on your right side of Balboa Ave.
